Delivery and customer service was great! The Travel Kit had huge wheels. Not what I expected. They are a heavy addition to the crate, even though the strap makes it easy to pull along. Being collapsible, this crate should have a separate frame to make the crate safer. The locks to erect the walls and secure the doors (as frames) to the sides and floor/ceiling were loose and allowed the crate to be flimsy enough to collapse at any moment. So dangerous for a pet inside! I played around with it enough to realize (beforehand) that I needed to use extra zip ties to secure these points further to avoid unexpected collapse. Not a great design. BTW - the collapsible crate is NOT approved on any airline.
Would have been helpful to receive some instructions to know which wheel should go in the front vs the back. BTW the locking wheels should be installed in the front and be sure to have the rear wheels facing forward otherwise it will not roll.... simple instructions
I’ve searched and googled how to add the wheels which side do the fixed wheels go and no instructions.
There were no instructions on putting on the wheels. It turned out that 2 wheels do not swivel, which took several tries for me to figure out. Then, it was extremely hard to get the wheels plate into the base. I had to use a mallet to get them in. Then it was impossible to take the wheel plate off! So now, I have a rolling crate that cannot be folded up! Not what I wanted!
Great product for the way I travel. Collapses easily and quickly, and the quick-attach wheels were a life savor for swiftly getting out of the airport.
